1. Overview of Services

ATXRide provides a ridesharing platform connecting riders with independent drivers for transportation within approved service areas. ATXRide does not own vehicles or employ drivers; all drivers are independent contractors who operate under their own discretion.

2. Flat-Rate Pricing

ATXRide uses a flat-rate pricing model to ensure fairness and transparency.

• Riders pay $1 per mile, plus $1 per trip to cover transaction fees.

• There are no surge prices, hidden fees, or time-based charges.

• The total price is displayed before the ride begins and remains the same regardless of traffic or peak hours.

3. Payments

All payments are processed electronically through ATXRide’s secure payment system. Riders authorize ATXRide to charge their chosen payment method at the time of booking. Payment disputes must be submitted within 72 hours of the completed ride.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Riders may cancel a ride before the driver begins traveling to the pickup location at no cost. If the driver is already en route or has arrived, a $3 cancellation fee may apply. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for service-related issues.

5. Driver Responsibilities

All ATXRide drivers must:

• Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and legally compliant vehicle.

• Operate courteously and follow all local traffic laws.

• Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or misconduct of any kind.

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of ATXRide.

6. Rider Responsibilities

Riders agree to:

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.

• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect.

• Refrain from any illegal, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.

• Pay the full amount for completed rides.

Damage to vehicles caused by riders may result in a cleaning or repair fee.

7. Safety and Conduct

ATXRide promotes a safe and respectful environment for both riders and drivers. Any reports of unsafe, aggressive, or unlawful conduct will be investigated, and accounts may be suspended or terminated at ATXRide’s discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

ATXRide is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from ride experiences, including accidents, delays, loss of personal property, or driver misconduct. Drivers are solely responsible for their actions and vehicle condition.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

ATXRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate any rider or driver account for violation of these Terms, unsafe behavior, fraud, or misuse of the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

ATXRide may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Bell County, Texas.
